a very good peice and to me it seems a bit dark, but not that dark. the beginning sounds a little technoish and maybe if you change the bell sound into something different you would get that Dark sound that everyone is expecting.

Even though this tune has some dark elements to it, the composition itself is inherently bright, colorful and cheery. It might be difficult to make it a truly "dark" version unless you altered much of the compositional sounds. Good work, though.

Hah, we have different definitions of what makes something "dark"

The Nutcracker soundtrack, for me, has always been dark-sounding. It was Christmas-sounding, but the notes in the song just seemed to generate a more of a Halloween-type sound.

Thus, I called this track "Evil Nutcracker"
