Entertainer by Scott Joplin
Done all in FL Studio 7

Rated 5 / 5 stars

It's awsome!

I even learned Scott Joplin's The Entertainer, and it's a pretty fun piece. How will the longer version sound? Are you gonna spice it up with a background orchestra, add a new mood, or add outrageous rhythms?

charlieunicornrocks2 responds:

Hehe thanks a lot :D
Hopefully if i ever do remake this it will stand out and be different

nothing innovative... i woulda appreciate at least some of your own flair/style.

but, regarding the piano itself, some pointers. Do dynamics. meaning either get samples that are sampled at different strengths, or modulate volume [and frequency/resonance/envelope... etc if ur into that :)] that way, it won't sound so flat and dry like urs does.

also, some atmospheric effect/light reverb would make it sound more realistic too.

check my stuff out plz!

charlieunicornrocks2 responds:

Yeah i threw this together in like 15 minutes lol. I play this song on the piano all the time so i figured why not? I prob could make it better but im too lazy :D your stuff is good as well i like it alot

relatively simple...

nothing stands out to me. couldve added some flare to the piano, maybe make it sound a lil deeper?

charlieunicornrocks2 responds:

Few things
One. its meant to sound like the song so NOTHING should stand out as different
Two. It might sound simple to you but there is 4 different melodies going with all different time schemes. a lot harder to keep track and stay in time with those
Three. rate me a 4/10 because its not deep enough and its not different? LOL
