*EDIT* Best of week! Yay! Thank you all!

Okay, this is new. A commentary section. I'll have to add commentary to all of my songs now. Yay!

This song come from a long-standing desire to mix one of my all-time favourite Final Fantasy songs: Within The Giant. Final Fantasy 4, on the whole, I have a soft spot for, because not only was it the first Final Fantasy I ever played, but it also has a lot of childhood memories attached to it... in more ways than one.

So when I finally found tracks that might work, I jumped at the chance to use them.

Please listen and review, I take great pleasure in reading them!

FF4 was also the first FF i ever played, though, CT was the first rpg i ever played,... such a unique storyline. but i digress, within the giant was one of the coolest tracks from ff4! Not a fan of the boss of that game though, he was more of a "beat me down for the next hour and a half" type bosses. no real skill was involved.

I'm very particular when it comes to Final Fantasy IV music, because it is my favorite of the franchise. I've spent time with almost every game, and it still stood out as my favorite.
You did very well. I am pleased to hear someone as talented as yourself do the game an honor.

Author's Response:

You have no idea. But if you're going to go for the same nostalgia that inspired this mix, you'll have to play the version of FFIV that is FFII (US) for the SNES. It was horribly translated, many items didn't exist and some of the characters had lost abilities in translation, but... it captured my heart so many years ago. <sigh>

... I'm pathetic.

I loved the electrical feel it had along with some hardcore jammin with the guitar plus it was a mix of two of the best themes in Final Fantasy 4 in the Overworld theme & the Giant of Babil theme, this is most certainly going on my ipod and you did a fantastic job on this song. =)
