I imagined a little girl who had passed away, and now she speaks through radio signals to whomever may catch her. She is sorrowful; her pain may be gone, but she is trapped between our world and heaven.

I started with the Rhodes sound that you can hear at the very beginning, and I added the piano notes soon after. There is also some Sytrus in the center and upwards near the end. I implemented this to give it a little more depth and emotion. After I had everything laid out, I brought in the effects that make it sound as if it is coming from an old radio.

I decided to make this really short but still worth hearing over and over and still able to let people feel the emotion it portrays (at least I hope others can feel the emotion as I do). This track was ultimately inspired by the eerie, ambient music from the Silent Hill series.

Edit:

February 15, 2008 - I made the track a little louder and higher in quality.

"Very nice."

Really spooky and well done; can see it in an excape-the-room game.

"A superb piece of music!"

Creepy and chilling, yet emotional without being overdone. You truly have done a wonderful job on this song!

I agree with you, it fits the Silent Hill series.

My one problem with this song is it uses the same lyic too much. Perhaps have a variation occasionally, going down a third for the last note, or something like that
