HAH! finally i can write a long comentary! and to celebrate it?

(update: i figured this diddnt really fit well in dnb, so i moved it to video game.. altho it does not fit well there either at all, but NG still lacks genres.)

DnB vs Orcestral!
new song , and this time, i were only thinking about myself. i were kinda tiered of doing the dark techno and i felt like i wassnt having fun with the music anymore, then a friend of mine needed a song for a school project. it was a animation project titeled "the race". i said i could make the music, and well, it started out as a more or less ok loop, but then i continiued and BAM! this is, in my opinion my coolest song yet :D this song is more _me_ than any of the other ones. this is kinda what i love to make. i hope you like it! i diddnt sleep just to get it done! XD vote fair :) <3

Hmm... I dunno...

... I thought this would suit a good video game, possibly an overworld theme. :)

I also thought the banjo was very good. XD

Basically, this was great! And I'll be listening to it for the rest of the day. :3
And maybe tomorrow. XD

I'm a little confused.

When people say they make stuff, does that mean they take pre-existing loops and mash them together, or do they mean that they played each instrument and made the song from nothing?

If it's the former (and that's what it sounds like), then that's a darn shame. I gave this an 8 though because it's still damn good.

Waterflame responds:

I composed this song myself, ive never used pre-made loops and never will. i havent played a real banjo or anything, but i played the melodies on a midi keyboard. its all a original piece ;) the sounds are soundfonts that simulate real sounds. since i cant afoard a live orcestra in my bedroom o,O thanks for asking tho, hope this clears out that question ;P and thanks!

Ahh! Yay!

Its such good music! It reminds me of Banjo Kazooie! (The banjo part)
Ah how I loved that game! Now I think I'll go play it!
Thank you for reminding me of my all-time favourite Nintendo 64 Game!

Not quite video game music but it's pretty good.

yay!

^^
a nine
no banjo plz!

Waterflame responds:

waai? without it there is no break from the orcestral and it all blends and the melodies loose buildup. besides ive always loved banjo, and even more when mixed into things like this, banjo's staying, sorry ;P
