This is the first track I've been working on for Fear Unlimited 2 Issue 2, for a while now.

The idea was to bring back the old themes from FU1, and the current melodies from FU2 I1 while also giving it an original feeling. This isn't going to be the same FU2 that you knew, it's going to be a lot better. That's a promise!

Back to the song, another focus of the "development cycle" for this track was to improve certain qualities of the overall atmosphere, more melodic variation, harder rhythm and a better overall flow to the song.

I started with something new, although in the actual game version it starts off rougher to introduce the fight, in this version it's made for a more direct looping experience. It's a small edit, nothing you'll miss specifically but that part wouldn't make sense if I had added to the NGAP version.

From what I feel this is a track that best resembles the overall feeling we're trying to recreate, making the game feel like Devil May Cry, but still attaining an original aspect of it.

This song was made for the normal battles, so there's nothing overly spectacular here, otherwise it'd probably make the boss tracks feel less "special" in comparison. Boss fights are always a special occasion, for the most part I try to do something more special with the boss music this time around. But you'll have to wait for that.

So, enjoy this, and let me know what you think! Reviews on this matter are really encouraged, the more feedback I can get, the better the music will be if you really have good ideas that I can use.

Thanks for reading,

- NT.

PS: This is a gift to all you FU fans out there, because Issue 2 won't be out for a while since Diz is working on another project to let the creative juices come back to him.

Nemesis, you have done it again. I wouldn't be surprised if a video game company came up to you with a contract, because I can picture this in so many games. You rock undoubtebly along with Diz. Keep em coming and continue to crank out good music. God Bless...
