I'm gonna have to agree with purplecurtismo

I have no idea what that noise is for like 50 seconds..

but after its amazing! Love the remix.

I agree with the idea that Link is walking into a deserted Kokiri Forest. He hears the wind and muffled music finds an entrance and joins the Rave PARTY!

"My opinion"

A lot of people hate the first 50 seconds and that's fine, they just want to skipt to the awesome bit. But this is how I see it:
Link is walking through the forest, and he can hear some sort of undergound muffled tune, and it sounds good so he walks faster, searching for a way in. At about 50 seconds, he finds a trap door (cue that kuchunk sound at 50 secs) and he drops into the rave!
And that's how I see it.
