This is one of my better remixes, considering that I only made a few.
I've been dying to make a remix of the Kraid's Hideout theme, and I finally did, so enjoy it.

Also, check out /audio/listen/471545

Top Notch Remix

Way back in the day, when I was ambitious enough to think I could make videogames, I had planned to do a remake of NES Metroid--for fun, think in the vein of Another Metroid 2 Remake going on right now--and if I had known this remix existed, I might've gone through with it even after hearing about Zero Mission coming out, because this song would fit perfectly. It captures the atmosphere of Kraid's Lair while also still retaining a simple, but effective, sound. This was always my favorite track in the NES Metroid (as well as it's GBA remake), because not only did it sound good, it was atmospheric. You've captured that combination.

I dunno, I'm gushing I suppose. Very well done remix, one of the better ones I've heard for Kraid's Hideout. If you still come on Newgrounds to read these comments, please make more Metroid remixes; I can never get enough of them.

I do, in fact, read most of these.
Thanks so much for listening, and if you ever even consider making a game (or remake, for that matter), I'd be happy to write the music for it, haha.
As for more Metroid remixes, it's very possible. I've had requests for Ridley and Mother Brain. The latter doesn't seem all that possible, although I might take a crack at it, but the former is definitely something I've considered for quite some time.
Stay tuned!
