So get this...

This is the third song of yours I've listened too.. Now for some reason, this is your first song, yet It's also the best I've heard so far. It's also the only one so far I've heard use more than like...1 instrument and a bass. I find people Usually get better as they play, This kind of proves me wrong, But I'm assuming with a bit more lurking I can find some better songs of yours that are later dated as well. Keep improving and my only tip is, Don't submit practice songs and stuff, Maybe use the basis of them, to create a premis for a great song, but not a single track OOhhh AHHh thing you got going on. Best of luck, I really do like this piece and Hopefully I'll find more like it.

err, ony the last few have had the BIG choir ("choir practice" is obviously almost all choral, but i've heard music that does less in mainstream, which is SAD) in them. i guess having 30+ entries doesn't help. i'm about to lower that again, maybe taking the bit songs off. i don't need that many...

lol, i bet the other one you checked was "fearful". MAN, that is OLD. red cavern has a similar dire choral style, but there are more happy moments (and guitars, woot).

i have a short list on my front page that suggests a few decent tracks. that's the bad part of having things on here: they're strictly by the date you post them, not by a genre or style (unless you search them, that is). oh, and this is definitely NOT the oldest one i have, just the earliest one i posted... then forgot about for several months.

The Review is Safe, the Metroid is in Captivity.

I love ambient music. It's really underrepresented in mainstream culture. I really like this track too, just probably not as much as some of your other work.
It really does feel like Metroid though, and it's great that you pointed it out. Really reminds me of playing that on SNES back in the day. (Not a big fan of the Prime series.) All in all, I think you accomplished what you were going for, and it's a very decent track. Much better then a lot of stuff here on newgrounds. (midi rips...)

Therefore...

Composition - 9/10
Quality - 10/10
Feeling - 8/10
Lyrics - N/A

Keep them coming!

it's interesting you should bring up the Prime series... actually, this began as an idea to build a directly related Prime era background piece. shortly thereafter, it branched more into my sonic stuff ideas, which in turn rolled back into making it a standalone song, which cycled back into metroid again.

circles, and circles, and circles, again...
