Made this for a contest where we were to use only one given sample. Made in FLS, enjoy.

Hey, I remember this. It's still less "cheaty" than the others in the contest . A lot of people thought filters that generated drum loops were fair game and apparently nobody noticed, only a few people used the sample and only the sample when making their tracks.

Good tune. We need to have another one of these contests sometime too.

Kaburorne responds:

Indeed we should.

Wow!

To hell with the repetition, to my mind that just makes this piece even better! That you were so limited and came up with something that sounds so good is amazing.

It shows a really strong talent that you can make something so short and restrictive into something that sounds so good.

I wish the thread on the forum where I posted it was still up. Then I could show you every one else's awesome entries.

Super Sweet! How did you do on the contest?

Kaburorne responds:

Not too well actually. The other people's entries were SO diverse. They really pushed the boundaries of using the sample.
Mine was quite basic. A bit more catchy than some other entries, but it was about how you used and manipulated the sample.

Tight.

Sick considering the restrictions.

Kaburorne responds:

Wow, thank you! I didn't know whether people would appreciate such a basic track, so thanks.
