"Gonna Review"

Few things I need to say. Drums are average-good. They need more upper texture. Try layering with a hiphop snare. They also need to be brought out in front more. They sit in the back too much.

You need to work on reeses a lot. Try making a 4 bar note on C and automating notch filters, low shelf, etc above phaser, distortion, and possibly reverb for a darker feeling.

I mean, it was ok, but the reese was not really a reese. Turn it into one and we might have an actual drum and bass submission for once :)

7/10, 5/5 Nice.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the review. Yeah I'm still trying to get that DnB bass sound, I only actually learnt what a reese was about a week/2 weeks ago. Average-good drums? Great, it's good to hear that they're improving. As to how they sit in the mix: well that's one of my major downfalls also, I need to put more attention into that and hopefully gain a more well rounded piece by it.
Thanks again for the review. Very helpful.

"solid 8"

hey man a pretty decent song, its a little harsh on the synths, kinda agressive in that sense. nice tune and melody tho. also like the use of the stereo action, almost didnt notice untill the end

overall a pretty good submission but either lacking more instruments with a more neutral sound or the harsh feel of the synth could be toned down a bit

Author's Response:

Cool, thanks. I still need to refine the reese bass for the proper DnB sound, and I should probably make use of those higher frequencies. It's been fun messing around with the bold, loud DnB genre, then switching to trying out some ambient sounds for the MAC competition, although I feel I can still develop my sound further and produce some real top quality stuff. Hooray for progress!

"A great song."

It was easy to listen and great. Just I think it's too long for me. Where does the name come from?

Author's Response:

Hey, thanks for your review.
"Lagomorph" is the species of mammals that the rabbit falls under. I heard it used in a video game, and I thought it sounded pretty cool.

Author's Response:

It's actually an attempt at Drum and Bass. But I'm still trying to get that DnB sound that differentiates it from the other electronic genres.

Thanks for the review.
