Author's Response:

Glad you liked it. :) This song was a lot of fun to do.
Heh, well, it says BETA because although the instrumentals are done, I still have to write up lyrics for it, lol.

Thanks for the review, man. I really appreciate it. :)

"Awesome song."

date: November 20, 2007

The synthesizer part of the beginning reminded me of the soundtrack to the first Terminator movie. Once the guitars kicked in, I started headbanging to this. This is a really good song. It makes me think of video games that take place in a mechanical future, kinda like Front Mission.

Author's Response:

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! ^_^ Not many people are happy of the idea of me mixing electronic elements into heavy metal/rock, lol.
And oddly enough, i was thinking of that exact same description when making the song. Normally, I go for heavy songs that come from a tropic-inspired setting, but I wanted to make something a little darker this time.
Anyway, thank you for listening, and thank you for taking the time to write the review! I really appreciate it. ^_^

The track is good. The intro somehow reminded me of the "Beverly Hills Cop"-Theme ^^.
The song has a good diversity and it never gets boring. The instruments are played quite well. Only bad point about this song is, that the sound somehow seems overloaded/overamplyfied.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for your input. Seriously, I really appreciate it. :)
Yeah, the sound's like that because I don't really have much skill in mixing, lol. I think this is where my hearing loss hinders me, because I want to get it to the point where I can hear every track in the song, but it gets frustratingly difficult to do so without the sound getting so loud and clipping all over the place. ^^' ....That, and the fact that I just plain suck at mixing. XD
Again, thank you for your review, I really appreciate it. :)
