I ALWAYS enjoy the intro to a intense song. To me it gives the song more meaning.
I think of it as in the beginning, when it's calm, you have these two guys starring each other down. When the intense begins, it's the two guys fighting it out. As the song gets more intense, they start having laser beams and fire and other stuff coming out of their hands. At the very climax of the song, near the end, they lunge for each other, and then... thats it. I think you should put the intro, minus the drums, at the end to conclude the fight, to create a mental feeling of one guy laying dead in the foreground, while the victor turns and walks away.
