"Emotional"

date: April 21, 2005

I never knew the guy, only picked up bits of the story from these reviews, but this track shows your pain. It brings a tear to a half-metallers eye to know that he was cared for and liked so much, and didnt even know it. Well done on this work, its melancholy, angry, and then the final part sounds somehow hopeful and peaceful. Its a slowly raging torrent of emotion, and whilst i dont normally like things that make me sad, this is brilliant.

"Nice job, Mike"

This really does fit him, y'know? I'm just glad to see a tribute of him that isn't shitty. I don't want people to remember him because they watched some shitty Flash movie that was thrown together in 5 min. so they could get some attention off his death. Strong, man.

Author's Response:

Thanks man! I did indeed put alot of work into it. At the time I didn't think there would be many other tributes to him, but it seemed by the time I was done making it, tons of people had already submited cheap movies they made really fast/
I am happy with how it turned out!
Thanks for the review!

"great song, for a great person."

date: June 13, 2004

Livecorpses death will forever hurt the community. And I'm very happy to see everyone pitching in to help honour his passing. Your song is powerful man, I mean, really powerful. I wish there was something else I could say to honour him, but I just didnt know him as well as you did. I talked to him sometimes, he was a cool guy.

R.I.P Livecorpse, may your lost soul be born again anew.

Author's Response:

Thanks!
It was a pretty crazy song to make, took a while to figure out how I would fit each mood into the song, but I seemed to have pulled it off!
When I first heard the news I thought it was just some joke, it is sad to see it really happened, and he had to go down the way he did. The world really can be a bad place, and the less money people have the harder it is to stay alive.

Thanks for the review!

"A good tribute to Livecorpse."

date: June 13, 2004

I know you were very close to him, and it's really sad to see him go...
He would have liked this song, probably would have used it in a movie.
Good job Mike, and rest in peace, Livecorpse.

Author's Response:

Yeah, it would have been cool to see what he had to say about the song, but I guess the world will never know!
Thanks for the review!

Author's Response:

I could have, but I found it would have lost it's power if you had to click a new song to here all parts of it. Though it is indeed one long song!
