I tried a more simplistic approach in this one, using two basic riffs. Thoughts?

I love the heavy metal beat mixed with the mellow breaks in between. Simplistic, and amazing, excellent work!

"Echo effect"

date: February 23, 2008

I really like the echoing / stutter effect on the guitar. I don't listen to much metal these days, usually only Ulver and a few other bands, but I enjoyed this track, one for my collection.

Author's Response:

Ulver was a great inspiration for many of my ambient metal works. You've got advanced aural capabilities if you can listen to them without a problem. Thanks man! ;D

"Yeah, this is solid,"

I'm not sure how I've managed to miss your page here completly. You and I are doing the same damned thing. Those guits sound good man, I assume they're several soundfonts layered and pulled into the same FX? If you feel like listening to some more symphonic metal, check out my Declivity tracks on NG. We should collaborate on somthing at some point, dude.

Author's Response:

Guitars are prerecorded samples of notes, from a guitar tuned to C#

Separate samples for single mute, single open, power mute, power open, tremolo and guitar fx (overtones and such are a rare commodity unless you record it yourself.)
