I really like it its like a cool adventure game where mario travels inside a village trying to do stuff but not wake up the townsfolk.

And no, I think the bass is great. It adds the fact that people are sleeping and bad guys are still out there.

Pretty good

While I agree that some video game themes are remixed way too much on Newgrounds (Mario theme, Geno's Forest, etc...), that doesn't automatically make them all bad. For example, look at Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It has at least 10 different versions of its main theme in the game! And they're all good!
The same thing applies here. The big thing about remixing an often-remixed song is to make it memorable, or somehow different from the rest. While it may have been a little TOO quiet, it was still a nice piece.
