Track 2 to A World Outside Your Own. There are lo-fi filters here and there to let you know.

Music & Vocals by George R. Powell
Lyrics by Brian Buyea

I feel the vapors lifting
I hear the fires burning
I see the lights fading
I taste the fears growing

I lost it all in one shot
Longer than one can believe
Oh and it was like the smoke
that covered the air

So is it okay
That I'm not sorry
That I'm not as willing

Tomorrow, yes send all in the page
the words that covered it
All envy that is emotion
Can it be that I've seen it all
Can it be that this is where I fall

Oh and now can't you tell
that the world we see is not your own
You rolled it away with one simple word
I "love" you

I'm not so sad with this
How can it be
How can it be

"Awesome song!"

date: July 24, 2009

I reckon this is like the second best song you've done after The Fade, it's really awesome, I love what you've done to the vocals giving it that techno sound. Plus the screams and this makes for a really cool song. Definitely 10/10 and that guy who gave it one clearly doesn't know what he's talking about. Make more like this :D Only other thing is, can we have the lyrics??

"what............?"

date: September 4, 2008

i adore your song the fade in sc guitar maniac dx 3... but your others songs aren't general rock, its stinky the mix o rock and techno.

December 25, 2008

Author's Response:

Maybe this song was a mix of those two genres, but most of the rest of them aren't. Rock songs with some added synth doesn't necessarily make it a rock/techno mix.

"The new age rock!!!"

date: August 31, 2008

I like your style of techno with rock. Its just to awesome to explain!!

Author's Response:

Thanks. This song was actually experimental. I had no initial direction for it. I just wanted to use an 8-bit VSTi in a rock song, came up with the synth melody (that the song starts with) and just made the rest up as I went along.
