It was cold and rainy today, so I made a cold and rainy loop. Put the viz to Hypno!

"OMG! poprocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

date: December 8, 2007

in the beginning, the poping sound sounds like what happens when you dump a whole packet of pop-rocks in your mouth!

"Nice"

I'm in a very laid back mood today. This song does a great job of keeping me there. I like the drums, very unique. I'm curious how you got that sound. Did you use a special set of modify the raw output itself? I'd love to hear more of them some time. Keep it up.

Author's Response:

It's a basic 808 kit run through a filter with LFO on the cutoff, then through some reverb, and finally through a compressor. I know it's "proper" to put reverb AFTER the compressor, but I liked the pumpy feel of my arrangement.
Thanks for the feedback!
