This is beautiful, this obelisk has an simple and ancient design which makes it look very old and primitive. The vegetation really helps to add to it's age.

zigan responds:

Thanks!

Unreal.. Lighting, detail, texture, color - its just perfect! How big do you keep your canvas?

zigan responds:

The original canvas size is 5400x7200 px @ 300 dpi. Or 18x24 inches.

THANKS! :D

The red side of the art and the arc of light at the top of the spire stood out most to me.

After seeing the two people at the bottom I was hoping that some more bright colors could be used to make them more...noticeable?

The spire is so bright yet towards the bottom things are rather dark. It makes me feel like I'm those two people. tiny and insignificant.

I think this loks beautiful. The starry sky is as well. Everything towards the top and a rainbow of colors can be seen while the bottom shows something of a desert.

zigan responds:

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, the sun is casting light almost a quarter of the way up the spire. I love scenes like that especially on mountain tops as the sun makes the peaks glow and everything below it is much darker in contrast. Despite not seeing the characters at the bottom as clearly, I decided to adjust the brightness just a tad so that the viewer could see a bit more.

Thanks again. :)
