After seeing all of your quite skilled artwork so far, I think you should try drawing Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7/ Crisis Core/ Advert Children. I know you seldom draw male characters, but after knowing your skills, it will be will be really cool to see you drawing such as cool character. It might even be a great way to challenge yourself too. :)

I had a little vision last night and came up with this that I'd like to dedicate to the book I'm writing. I'm glad that I pretty much all got it down to what was in my head. It was some great practice and a challenge as I don't work with landscapes that often and decided not to use any references. I'm in the midst of changing my website, signature and logo as all new pieces will now be signed with JA as Johnson Arts.

Yes. I've always wanted to do an angle behind Cloud Strife when he gets up to the steps right when Aeris dies from Sephiroth with him holding out his arms in the beam of light from above. It's a very dramatic scene and it would look really good on painting. It's a bit tough to try and come up with a right way to approach it, however.

Just magical, filled with hope after some war or something else apocalyptic. Just cool. It is like
the end of the world has been canceled from that person over there who is resting and dreaming
about how the world will be changed after the events that she was apart of.
