This is a study I worked on for a few days a little at a time. Tried to use as few brushes as possible, mostly used a hard brush the entire way to attain a natural texture. Screen cap reference from Game of Thrones. Awesome show, I highly recommend.

I probably could of put more into this, but eventually you have to put it down and move on. Little details gradually start to become points of interest, so you go to those and touch them up, while so many other details start to become transparent. It is very hard to fix them all, at least given a decent time frame. It's later on down the road when you look back at the subject from a new frame of mind that it becomes more clear, but in retrospect it is almost impossible to pull away from that which you put so much time into.

Really great work! IMO you nailed the likeness. Just guessing but this looks like it was from the episode from a couple weeks ago where Peter was escorting her to her aunt's castle. Great show and great piece :-)

zigan responds:

Good memory! Indeed it was that episode. I decided to choose that one because of the specific lighting involved. It's a bit harder to blend everything out in exterior overcast so it was good practice. However, I did brighten it up a bit to get some more detail. Thanks for the review!

Awesome work!
