Landed on a strange planet. Scaled down to 20%. Redone from an old piece in 2010.
Thanks for the Frontpage NG! :)

I look at every picture I see non-objectively. I attempt to avoid it's focal points by starting at the left, scanning to the right, then scanning from top to bottom.
My thought process was something to the effect of "A nice Arizona like atmosphere, you have your desert like areas and then... spaceship? This isn't Arizona at all..."
I love the dust and light effects you have in this piece; the way the sun glares on / off the ship is absolutely superb. The human figures, although small, add a necessary sense of adventure and intrigue to the piece.
I imagine that the planet is one discovered in a very distant future from now, judging by the design of the ship. (A ship that small wouldn't leave Earth to find an oxygen supported planet. The planet has to be oxygen supporting, OR they are wearing very tiny breathing apparatuses.) But the futuristic aspects of the ship, and the relatively normal models of the humans actually please me. It puts it into perspective that no matter how much technology changes, humans will still remain relatively the same. (Unless they are robot humans.. in which case, I say "Meh" for proving me wrong. :P)
Excellent work.
Thanks for the great review! :) Very much appreciated! You are pretty much on the same frequency as far as to what I was thinking. It's sometimes funny when we think that if humans do get this far if we'll really be using the same type of ideas and concept for space travel. I have a feeling it may be something that isn't really fathomable at this time. But I guess that's why sci-fi exists :)

Great! Sometimes when I close my eyes and imagine alternate realities or lives these kind of unexplored planet scenarios come to mind!
You're on the right track then! Thank you! :)
