I like how calm she looks.
Haven't submitted anything for awhile, thought I'd do some grayscale work. There is some structure of the face and proportion I should have fixed but I had attend to something. =P
If anyone would like the name of this character it's Shevil (Sheh-VIL). I don't believe this name is derived from any other source, however, the name thrown apart is SHE and EVIL. The character itself relates to the words due to her practices of dark sorcery in a fabled story I have not started working on yet.
I like how calm she looks.
Mysterious
I like her expression. It may be me, but she seems kind of hopefull.
Great Piece
I enjoy the work you did with the eyes and the hair in particular, although the upper dark background somewhat denies clear view of the detail you did on the hair. This is actually a piece that I'd rather NOT see done in color, as it would detract from the simple yet effective black/white contrast.
Outstanding
When I look at your arts I'm full of admiration, but when I look at "Gray Fire" first time I just fall in love :) It's simple, but stunning masterpiece. Lack of color, lots of shading and white-black conception make your art more amazing. Shevil is beautiful woman, the dark around make her very mysterious, but she's not cold. I don't know Shevil is figment of your imagination or portrait of real girl. Anyway, "Gray Fire" is one of my favorite art in all Newgrounds, so I wish you more wonderful images and full of inspiration to make another one great portrait.
Szwagier
Thank you for your great words, I fully appreciate it. :)
HMM
Nice drawing reminds me of Kaylee from the show firefly.
