I'm not very good at scenery I don't think. Need to work more on brush techniques.

Actually I think that the true artist draw/paint/make/.... with his fealing , and do not always know what their artworks really represent , the true artist just materialize their feeling , letting the viewer judge with their own experience what its represent , because each person have his own opinion =P

my guess for the story behind it is
The two were at each others necks holding a grudge, the two used to be close and when the victor struck the lsoer down, he pleaded her (assuming) to go on living without him to wich she denies and extends her hand

well my guess of what going up
they are lovers. the one standing it the girl, she want him to come follow her avenge some fallen comrade. the sword it put in this comrade grave. :) nice work.

a masterpiece
it's a kind of an epic, sad, FREAKING AAAAWESOME escene, i really like the style and colours. nice job dude.
