From Darkness

Share

From darkness whence it came, like all evil it gazes with unrestful eyes of hate and madness. It will not come into the light, for it has no courage or moral to die. Let the light cast it's way into the heart of darkness, so there may forever be no shadow.

Just a speed paint I did a bit ago. The passage is also from nowhere (If it is holycrap...). Think a bit of inspiration came from Shadow of the Colossus. I been playing it again here and there and it always impresses me. It is a bit bright I think but my contrast setup was a bit rough to barely incorporate the serpent there.

Very nice

So this was notbad this was actually pretty good I love the black and white theme you have here and that shine on the sword is pretty good the creature in the background with the eyes and teeth could have more glow on the eyes and maybe a sparkle on the teeth would be a nice little polish to ad on these or this piece but anyways really nice work here love your style

Dude, I can always count on you to have great drawings! I'm surprised this doesn't have more views! At least Daniel Sun and I like it. It was great how you did include some description on what was going on. The dark monster looks like some giant hamster. That's not meant to be insulting at all.

Particularly effective is that the monster appears to be the shape of the cave it's in. I think that might be the same guy from other pictures. You are a truly talented artist. I guess the monster's more like a snake that I look at it. Everything is just so well done.

This would be a great cover for some edition of BeoWulf.
