Buckethead!!!

Share

This is a cartoonised version of Buckethead, some insane guitarist i discovered recently....been listening to his legendary solo's for about two weeks, and since i had no better idea, i decided to work on this project.

It took me 5 days to complete mainly because i spent 4 days for the line art...i drew a couple of different poses...and they were all bad and worst till i came up with that one, wich seems decent enough
the hardest part was...ahem...the mask, and probably the guitar too..i wanted to draw it in some side angle with a bit of perspective, but i didnt got what i really wanted, but after 5 days i lost my patience and decided to go on with that, in the end the colors shown up really well...im particulary proud of the shades effects on his trenchcoat , i worked my ass so the coat dont look straight, but folding at thebody angles.

I used 2 layers of shades , one straight to reveal the forms and another in gradient to reveal the light
in the end i kinda like the result and i consider this piece as a tribute to my now, most favorite, musical artist

cant wait till he throw a concert in Montréal ....

Ok, he's not bad and he have play with GNR for Chinese Democracy, but nobody know is identity

hendrix is the best guitarist (you really cant compare anyone to his legendary status) but BH is definitely an unstoppable force. AND this is an amizing drawing, well done.
