The Dog was a Wolf

(copied from DA, as I am a lazy person, haha)

Woaaaaaaaaah.
Damn, I sure suck at drawing backgrounds. Haha. xD They are so hard to do! (and long!)

But still, this was a very interesting illustration to make. I tried to play around with the perspective, the colors, the lights aaaaand the background. I love doing that, even if I fail most of the time.
But practice makes perfect!

So this is a modern version of the Little Red Riding Hood (yeah yeah, I know, I'm so original), with a little strange and dramatic touch. I hope you like it!
And, yes, if you wonder, the thing on the bottom left of the picture is a dog. A dead dog.

Nice art! But why is there a dead wolf?

Huge fan of all ur art, they are just my style, and very pretty *^* ~ you just earned a new fan! keep it up!

ZeTrystan responds:

Ha! Well thanks a bunch, I really appreciate it! Happy you like what I make. ;)

Great piece, pours the feeling even in its cartoonish style; the BG is fine, don't see why you say different, I loved it end to end, congratulations.

ZeTrystan responds:

Thanks! That's what I tried to do: being able to produce a feeling without being too handicapped by the cartoony style.
Ooooooh, because I can't manage to make a good background, it's as simple as that! :D
Thank you very much, I'm happy you like it!
