This is a 3D asset I built for using in the Unreal game engine (UDK) as part of a mod called The 8th Hour by Team Black Flamingo.

Modeled in Maya 2009, textured in Photoshop CS3

Wow!

Such good texturing, I do 3D work myself and this is really impressive for something of unidentifiable wooden structure, how do you get such good realistic textures? Do you download them? Download then edit them (besides the uv map)? If you could share any technique that would be appreciated. Also what program? :)

Thanks, yeah I often start with some photo textures as a base and then build up the details on top. A lot of it is playing around with blend modes and blending options in photoshop to layer on the detail.

This looks so sickly good 0.o Everything looks like it's entirily real, except the pillow things above. Those are a shame :( I wish I could texture like that. Where doe you learn those kind of things XD

Thanks for the review. I gave the metal fan parts at the top less resolution in their texture space so that I could put more detail into other areas. This is because the player will walk around the sides of it, but only see the top from further away. I think they still look weird though, so I might edit the texture a bit.
