Made this back in '07. This is an image of three wine glasses in a studio type environment. I used splines and lathe modifiers to produce the wine glasses and wine. I also used two Vray lights and then used Vray to render the scene. First time using Vray, and it did a good job.

"Close, but no cigar"

It's looks really nice and polished, both in the sense of shine and professionalism, but it didn't really look right from the first time I looked at it. I then decided to look at actual photos of red wine. I saw that the shadowing comes more at the sides of the glass rather than almost no shadowing at all. Wine and wine glasses aren't completely translucent, there has to be shadows on certain areas of the wine and the glass holding it. It does look nice, but it looks a bit unrealistic.

Tell me, this is a picture right? it is so good if it isnt, if it is... I like it anyways lol... I like your work and keep it up, no negative review, just here to tell you to keep it up... peace!
