Dahm you 4kids! Why did you have to ruin pokemon, along with so may other great anime!
(If you don't know what I am talking about in japans version of pokemon when Misty, Brock, and Ash parted ways Ash and Misty had a very touchy feely moment where they kissed thus making AshXMisty. In the American version, 4KIDS CUT IT!!! The reason behind this was because they think that a dramatic kiss at the end would make the kids that watch this be grossed out, because they think kids are pusses! They obviously have not watched any Disney movies.)

The American version DID add in tons of songs and soundtracks about Misty being in love with Ash though! That did not exist and had no counterpart in Japanese so they did make up for that! ^^
