Introspective

Share

This is one piece for my art concentration in my AP Studio Art class.

It shows a woman entangled within a skull-like creature who happens to be herself or inner spirit....introspective: to consider one's own inner state. Notice how her hands match the "creature's" hands. She can control this "spirit" within her body and mind.

A lot of my art in this concentration will demonstrate the idea of introspective.

I hope you guys like the concept and art.^^

I prefer traditional than digital to.^^ I love pencils as well. You can really get good quality and I think it's easier to get that quality with pencils than a digital program.^^

XxCrimsonMoonxX responds:

I really like the quality of them.^^ Thanks. =D

Fantastic!

I absolutely love those shapes! I also love how the hands seem to mirror each other and still mange to maintain the flow of the whole. the yellowish color of the paper is a nice touch as well.

XxCrimsonMoonxX responds:

Thank you very much! I'm very happy with how it turned out and I'm glad you do to.^^ I thought the yellowish tint would give the picture a good quality. I'm glad you like it. =3
