here’s my quick review of “Maleficent” : remember where there was no Twinkies. and the market was flooded with Twinkies copycats, but they were not as good as the original. this is what that movie is, an imitation of the original. and as much as you want it to taste as good as the original, you know it wont be cause its not using the original recipe.

it was OK. it was nowhere near the levels of awful as Tim Burtons “Alice in Wonderful” or “Oz the great a powerful”, and for that I’m thankful. This movie is totally aimed at woman, and it was totally noticeable at my theater as alot of the scenes drew out several “AWWWWW’s” from the audience, in a lot of cutesy scenes. My wife also felt victim to that but also admits that a lot of the movie felt forgettable. the only thing that stuck out with her, and me was the crow.

that crow-man , Diaval, that’s where the evil genius of Disney comes out. you got a good looking-ish guy, that can turn into several animals, and girls were fawning over him. objective achieve Disney. even as i type this, I’m pretty sure there’s someone out there writing a “Diaval - Maleficent” Fan Fiction. C’mon. Diaval was totally her fuck-buddy.

and that what this movie feels like. like fan fiction. so hey my comic maybe farfetched, but now that i watched “Maleficent”, it doesn’t seem that impossible. i watched it.
