excelent
Good character design with a well used color range and precise detail, the textures are also very fluid and scenario despite its simplicity has a perfect lighting for the character.

Really Really nice looking
The whole position of the cape and her pose kinda don't tell me much about where she's going. I assume she's like levitating upwards but her cape looks like she stopped in place. Just throwin that out there incase that's not what you wanted her to be doing in this particular scene.
Otherwise, this is a beaut, in more ways than one ;D

Really, it's up to you to tell what she's doing... I imagine here pretty much the same way you said though, just flying all over and this is just one instance of her swooping / turning or whatever... the cape just has all sorts of energy that make the piece more lively. :)

Be careful with your placement
By putting Scarlette so low in the stage like you did, you made her appear short. Great colors though.
All I can say is, this piece looks great as a print on my wall.. ;]
The long composition doesn't really change how I view the character, so I'm afraid I can't see how you get the same effect. :\
