A Ribbon's Tale

Been workin on this on and off for a few weeks now and i forced myself to take my time with it, as Robert Henri said: "Time is not important if by it you get your art piece moved forward", and im pretty happy now that im done with it!
Heavily inspired by Journey as you can clearly see. Enjoy!

The illumination you gave it... is fantastic! Great work, but what's that thing with a red colored mouth?

Most of the time i try to let the audience interpret the story or meaning of the painting themselves, but in my mind the big face was an entrance into a temple with maybe some sort of treasure/secret hidden inside. And since there are other temples in the distance I'd like to think that each of them has their own secret hidden inside :)
