This is a pretty cool 3D render. I made it almost a year ago. The wood texture is terrible, but everything else is pretty cool IMO.

gotta just say wow :D i like the highlight there... also this is the one of ur bests...
It looks really cool, especially cause you made the shuriken have some scratches on it to give it a really worn out look. I like the light reflection off of it because it really shows the light coming in from the sun. And about the table, I actually like it. Sets a nice effect to it because it reflects the shuriken.
Nice drawing. You pretty good though
it looks so real nice
Author's Response:
Sweet :)
Was the fact that it has a reflection off of the wood.
Author's Response:
Yeah, the wood texture if really terrible. I just wasn't paying it enough attention when I made it =P
id add it to my collection
Author's Response:
As would I ;D
seeing as i tried to 3D render myself and didnt have the patience (although soon i will be getting brice!!!!) I noticed your attention to detail, i want to know what program you used.... by the way unless that wood has glass on it it shouldnt reflect.....
Author's Response:
I use Lightwave 9.6 for all my 3D stuff.
And yes, I know about the wood, I mentioned it in the commentary.
I give you credit for doing this in 3D I cant say I am very blown away by your work but with some time and real ideas you can make something. The skill there but the brain wasn't when you made this.
Author's Response:
No, I actually had to use my brain. :)
its okkkkkk i guess. the ninja star has a decent texture, but the geo could use some work. and the table defffffinitly has WAY to high of a reflection for the kind of wood texture you used. considering having no reflection and throw in a bit of a bump. not bad though
Author's Response:
Yeah, this is an older render. I could do it better now, but I still need improvement.
You talk as if you're a 3D artist yourself. Are you?
It appears to have been stuck in the wood with a minimal amount of force. The shadow effect is nice, as well as the reflection.
I also like the design on it.
Author's Response:
Yeah, I'm not quite sure how to go about making a dent or ding in the wood, but maybe I'll try.
Thanks for the review! :D
