Looks like somewhat of a tick, hence, "the gatherer" I'm guessing its gathering human blood or something :D, or maybe those sharp fangs are just for drilling, I'm not sure, but thats sure. Good times, I remember stepping on the little buggers, with them popping and spurting blood everywhere, especially the fed ones, my least favorite bugs D:

Anywho, I like the gridded kind of junky texture it has to it, with all the meshed wires wrapped around it, I think the actual quality of the robot represents the actual idea for the game well.

Oh, I played that game..

It was a very, very entertaining one.

You have made a good job there, but it would be better if you draw some background.
