sheesh.
sketched some spaceships, picked one and tried to place it in some sort of enviroment.
grayscale first. wanted to make composition work. it was quite a struggle.
added color on new layer just to make it look presentable. it tilted value a bit.

See, if this was part of a series of these three ( I do see two in the background right, that's not some sort of weird shadow?) spaceships and they were exploring a new planet and you went from something like this scene to the cave illustration you put up lately it would have helped that work. I like the lighting - it's nice and moody - with this ship finding a ray of light where there's a break in the "trees" or "rock formations" ....

This is good, but I can tell that you drew the spaceship first and forced the environment. Try to achieve the same level of work in both.
