It's Shark Week. :)
The only gripe I have here is that the inside of the shark's mouth has that solid black shadow, which you would never really see. Despite that I understand the stylistic choice, and that this is a dream, and a personal gripe does not give me the right to give you a bad review. Excellent work
\hey thanks for the critique... I feel you. It was considered. But after looking at reference sharks inside of the mouth does get pretty pitch black. Although that is not solid black it's about a 80% K (black)... it gives that impression cuz all the values are quite light overall. But in favor of your argument I guess I did have atmospheric perspective with lighter blue values values on the inside of the mouth. But as an after thought I decided almost pitch black adds to the creepy factor.
It was considered though. But if you look through reference you'll see it gets really black in there specially in really deep water, and the mouth facing the Ocean bed like that. I did exaggerated it a bit. Was a conscious decision though. Maybe I'll give it a second thought

Awesome work.
oh shit, this is so awesome!
the shark is awesome, the character & the pose is awesome, the composition is awesome, life is awesome, and I didn't know that you had a deviantArt account and randomly found you now!
It's me Thunder Draws / NaiBuff ! :)
You really captured the fear factor here. Floating underwater with a large predator. Nice interaction between the two and the teeth look extra dangerous behind that pitch black mouth.
I thought this was an entry for the Jazza challenge of the month untill I saw the tags.
Brilliant!
