Hey! This is my first art upload to newgrounds! i cant beleve how awesome this page is. when they add a full profile system with comments etc, i seriously wont need any other place on the web, ever! :D this will be my new place for art now, cant wait to submit my full collection :D
anyways, to the picture. this drawing was made on a trip to oban, in 2005, i just finished highschool back then, and i had alot of spare time during the train rides. i later decided to color it in photoshop, wich was about 2 months ago, or so. it was my 2nd time coloring something in Photoshop, so i think it turned out ok! :) i dont have a name for her yet, tho.. any suggestions? XD

Pretty good drawing. Even if I don't really care for manga style art, I can still tell that you spent a fair amount of time on it and payed attention to detail.

very nice coloring but the tail placement is either a little too high or that the angle is a bit sharp. the "dot is a nose and mouth" thing ruins a bit the image, but it's not that bad

and for some CC: for your second PS coloring it's perfect!! a bit of practice and you could become a full fledged artist!

Its a really great character.She looks cute but shy like she is reacting to someone.I like how you matched the cat tail's pattern to the scarf.You did a great job on her attire too.I enjoy the ying and yang symbol,the clothes,and how her shoe laces match her pink hair.The shading is pretty good and I really see nothing wrong with it except maybe work on the face.The face is stylish but it makes it look a little odd when the mouth and nose are simply a dot.Overall great job!As for a name maybe the name of one of your girlfriends or the name of a girl you met who was shrouded in mystery.Keep it up.Best of luck.
Reminds me of megatokyo, you ever read it? It's really apparant within the eyes and face.
The heart and shadow really adds a bit more "oomph" to an otherwise bland background, DEVIANT ART YAY. As my good chum below me said.
Perhaps the usual schoolgirl drawing you could do well, with the floppy socks and ponytails. Could be your next drawing?
No idea for names, though while i'm here I might as well go "WATERFLAME HAS AWESOME ST00F. <3 MUSIC." and could I ask what programme you use? I'd normally use reason or ableton live... haha, i'm really milking this comment, sorry man. All the best
Nice picture! Pretty well proportioned all over, except I think the head should be a little bigger. The face also seemed a bit flat, so I think it could use some more shading.
As for a name, maybe try something in Japanese. All I can think of is Yuki, which means snow, but I highly doubt that's the most original name. Maybe Google Translator will be your friend for this. XD
I love the little details, like the scarf hanging out the back, and the key chain or whatever that is hanging from her pocket... Those are the things that bring pictures to life.
Pretty good overall; maybe a background would be nice? That would probably be hard to do with a scanned image, but you could try going over it with the pen tool, creating a vector version? I don't know...

Yay! my first art review :D thank you! thanks for the constructive criticicm ^^ youre right on all fronts X) its really old, like 4 years old :D but maybe i can retrace it and fix the errors some time :3 thanks for the tips!
