Practicing with Maya
These guys got joints so I might animate them
They got breast-shaped sacks on their backs that can squirt a natural acid, so they're able to flee from enemies
And they got Kabbalistic writings carved on their body for good luck
They got two arms to carry their fat body forward
Original texture is handpainted with waterpaint and pastel paint
I used Gimp for the black texture

the mouth bit turned out great on the model.
if you had to scan the painting; how did you get it to wrap the model properly? did you just have to realign it with the unwrap?

yep, that's exactly what I did
I put the original texture output and the scanned texture in gimp (I hate that program, I should get photoshop) and tried to make them match
Ummmmmm...?
A Bit weird, but nonetheless, Great.
