Some stuff from a dress-up game I'm creating art for. I was told to go for cute and sexy, but leaning a bit more heavily more on the cute side, rather than the sexy.
I realized there is only some much shading I can do, because some of it changes as you swap clothes and items out.
Some additional things I'd like to note:
The hand on the desk I'm not liking too much but the one raised in the air I'm pretty satisfied with.
The skirt was a pain but it brings out the legs nicely, especially at full view.
Also shirt wrinkles are a pain for me as well. I'll probably do away with the one right below the shirt buttons. Or lighten it up a bit.

Author's Response:
Just use to it I guess. These aren't thaaaat freaking big though XD
right vortex... im going to egnor the background and the desk for the moment as you already know they arnt the main focus... i feel that most of the time spent on this piece was spent in the torso and head area... the shading is good on these bits... i strongly agree with you with the hand on the desk... it looks really bulky and odd... also i would like to point out the feet/shoes look rather small and odd looking... i dont know if its beacuse of the shading is harsher then the rest of her but im not sure about them... *copy and paste job* (cough)... one is bigger then the other as well O.o , skirt is fab, love it... i feel her head is to far to the left and may be better with a shorter neck... the shading on HER right leg is a bit odd... it doesnt look right... i dont know where the light source is coming from but looking at the majoriy of her i would say top right... athough the shading on her leg says mid right... its not bad... but i have seen you do better stuff... also... if this is done in flash instead of your normal program... i can understand about some of the quality issues... but i think she needs a bit of adjustment and see will be perfect... cant wait to see what you create next...

Yeah, give me a break on the copy paste geez lol XD good eye! I would have just drawn the same thing anyways >.>; Since I'm kind of pressed for time I have to take a business approach to most of the art I do. And also most art I do unfortunately is for some game or something, and not just to be art alone. But on the flip side, it has more functionality than just being viewed. But that's why I might cut a corner or two here and there.
After reading this and looking back and fourth at the pic though, I realized the shading on the sock and on the leg is quite different. That definitely has to be fixed. And the shading you mentioned on the leg I'm guessing can be resolved by adjusting the angle. I also think the face is too bright but I'm going to leave it be. Also that the wood part of the desk is missing a few shadows from her leg. But the other parts of the desk yeah, there just there to complete the picture for now :)
great job on the pose, color, and shading (fave and fived)

Thanks!

Author's Response:
Forever away XD
nah, I'll try to get some out sooner than later. I have a lot of WIPs
I was on an anger raige, wasn't I? :D But this is a really good picture, and the pink you used was perfect in this drawing. And I do feel bad for some of the mean comments I have put :( You really are a good artist, though. No lie! The type of hair style you have used for this character is perfect. I REALLY LIKE IT, NO LIE!
Author's Response:
Thanks :)

Author's Response:
I have noticed a few things wrong with this picture since I posted it. But posting it allows me to spot these things. I'll probably wind up fixing these things in the finished product. I'm not sure exactly what improvements in the cheeks you are referring to though.
I do plan to post more stuff, it may not be in the portal though, but just on my userpage. High exposure isn't something that I enjoy too much of, especially in this art portal.
