For a challenge my friends and I had.
Left is Gentleman the Strongman who lost his arms, but was crafted a pair by the boy genius only known as Boyo (Middle)

On the right is Mechandra... She started off as the whole, royalty who has to go on a quest and yadda yadda yadda... etc. But she has become more evil looking. Gentlemen is Mechandra's personal guard.

Also, I figure in the (imaginary)story, Boyo would come across a book full of inventions that everyone wants for some reason.

Steampunk! Yay!

I am thinking about full colouring these.

Geez Louis!~

you really captured the steampunk theme well here! Especially with Mechandra's hair. It compliments the entirety of the design, as well as the concept. The only verrrrry minor problem though, is the placement of wheels on Boyo's skates. it doesn't seem as though the wheels could handle shifting pressure, or too much use.The inspiration looks like it came from the early drafts of bicycles, which didn't support or move well at all. Overall though, the three characters and background look very well thought out, and well designed.

Yes! Boyo's Skates are inspired by Penny Farthing Bicycles, and are steam powered!
I was just thought I would try combining weird things for my own steampunkish adventure!

looks pro!! I like the textures you used. The varying line thicknesses are nice too.

Well well

These are some great concepts here. Love the color choice.

Only suggestions I would make would be to make the woman a little taller than the kid, and maybe make some of the gears on the big guy more functional instead of ornamental.

Other than that, this is some great steam punk. :D

Thanks for the suggestions! The kid is actually wearing rollerskates, so he is actually like a foot shorter.
And as the gears go, I completely agree. When I have time to put these into colour, I hope to make sense of those gears.

Not bad for my first foray into the world of Steampunk.
