This is a drawing I did in early 2010 that is basically my own twist on Blizzard's Terran Marine wallpaper. This depiction of a medic took 30 hours to draw and has since been featured on the Blizzard Art Gallery, as well as many other gaming sites and magazines.

It was a birthday gift for a friend, Casualzombie!

You can see the making-of and get a higher resolution version on my Deviantart page, http://vonschlippe.devian

Hope you guys like it! This is my first post on Newgrounds (made my account today!)

EDIT: holy crap thanks for the FP! I've uploaded the making-of in my gallery! If you're interested in the creation of this picture, go have a look! Thanks everyone! ^^

A simple 10/10 rating doesn't do this awesome picture justice, this is easily top 5 quality, if not top 3!
Can't wait for the next picture to show up, keep up the awesome work!

Holy fuck!

Goddam, how did you draw that? What do you use to draw? Fantastic job my friend. I can't seem to think anything more to say because you seem to know what the hell you are doing.

I detailed the process here on my DA page:

It's all done on Photoshop CS2 using a wacom pen tablet!

Again this is one of those where the devil is in the detail! From the name on the cheek, the MED # on the bottom of the helmet the the little starched and pis in the crosses and all over the helmet! Also the reflections on the Visor at the top (I maxed out my video card and still could not read them) WOAH! man your amazing, this is a peice of art that every time I look at it I will see something different!

I cant even imagine how hard it is to draw an illustration like this!
How long did it take?

Vonschlippe responds:

It took slightly over 30 hours! Glad you like it! ^^
