This is a my interpretation of the Joker, based heavily on a picture of myself. Did it for a "draw the Joker" thread in the Art Forums. Done in flash, first ever tablet drawing.

Good style

I like the style you used, very sketchy and easy on the eyes. The colors you used, naturally fit perfectly for the character. Very sharp and clean colors, as well.

What's also a nice touch is that you were your own subject. You pulled it off rather well in my opinion, too.

Overall, fine job Viridis.

Good sketch

A little too unpolished for my liking - painting outside of the lines is something that you get taught not to do as a preschooler, to be honest.

I'm not sure about writing HA! all over the background of the piece, as there are plenty of things that you could have done with this, including even left it blank.

To be honest, I'd have loved to see what you made of the custom waistcoat that he wears, since that's quite a bit of detail work, so it would present a challenge, I'm sure!

Other than that, this would certainly suffice (when tidied up) to be a part of a comic book, relating to the Dark Knight.

Not the Joker..

Well, this is a subject that has been completely worn out, but never mind.

I like the sketchy style. It suits the Joker's menacing persona. The shading is quite simple, but nice.

Because you based this piece on yourself, it doesn't look much like the Joker. The nose looks like a pig's. I know that's the angle, but it's still true..Lips are usually hard to do, but you've done this very well. Good job on that!

Overall, it's very nice, but not really the Joker.

great, but...

Good job here man, really looked cool, though the only thing I didnt like about it was a bit sketchy, though since it was your fist time using a tablet I guess I could let it slide.

The colors used in this piece were very vibrant and crisp, but yet dark and scheming, I really loved the olive green and dark purple colors, really looked great.

Excellent job here man, 5/5 from me, keep up the good work! :)

Nice, but a little rough

This is a nice picture. I like the mostly dark colors you used (well, except for the face, obviously). Fits very well with the grey background, too.

However, the drawing itself is a little rough and sketchy, but I guess that is because it's your first time ever drawing with a tablet.

Furthermore I think the "Ha!"'s in the background look a little bit too blurred.
Also, the mouth and the eyes don't look exactly scary. Maybe showing some teeth and having a little more of an angry expression would help here.

Thanks for the review man. The HA's are blurred because I couldn't find the proper quality picture of this, so the .jpeg format raped the quality to shit. :(
