"The Yin Chushou Tou (YCT) are robust, carnivorous creatures with a unique symbiotic hunting strategy. Fiercely territorial the YCT scourer and hunt their large terrain with the aid of the Dao zi. Small, communal, saucer flyers the Dao Zi are integral to their host. Living within the “honeycombed” hide of the YCT, the Dao zi are equipped with a unique to their host, venomous-pouch stinger. This packet of informational enzymes are used to “tag” prey items. Scout’s surveying the territory find an appropriate victim and administer the first tag then relay the information to its sisters. Upon stinging the prey item the venomous pouch is lodged into the victim, leaving a signature for their fellow Dao Zi and Yin Chushou Tou to detect with its highly sensitive sensilla. The Dao Zi stinger pouch does regenerate but needs a recovery period before venturing out again with a viable new stinger. These signatures give the Yin Chushou tou a direct preweakened target to kill and the dao zi easy access to the liquids and flesh of a shredded Yin Chushou Tou carcass. Any detection of foreign Dao zi tags of rival YTC will cause the YCT, of said territory, to seek out an enforce its dominance. Dao zi are fiercely territorial as well but are also opportunists. They will, at times, abandon the defeated YTC for the winner."

And another great piece of a mesmerizing world, but what are the other giant guys hovering in the background, and their smaller maybe younger counterparts?

vinsight responds:
