Too basic

As a fellow Max user i can say that i cant detect skill here, you should have did what the guy below me said, and then posted this, i also noted that most of your works look imcomplete, but still they're not bad, if u wanna stick to meshes you should try making then more complex, using GI or Adv. Lightning is some times better than using basic materials.

Got A Good Start

Next step would be some Global Illumination, and some better lighting.
Also a good unwrap would do this wonders. As of right now it feel too clean, no oil spots, no chips, no grease stains, too clean. Once you get this unwrapped and textured you'll see this thing come to life.

After Getting it unwrapped get it a good solid environment. Someplace it belongs, so an armory or munitions safe would be a good place to put it.

pretty cool

This is modeled in Max2010 right? I'm just starting to learn the program myself lol
anyway, looks pretty cool. I'd say it's just a little low on hard edges right now, like it has a really soft feeling to it atm.
