EFN Black Ace in 3D

A great deal was put into this guy...

Behold the Cyber Demonic Nightmare know as Black Ace has finally reached the 3 Dimensional world...
Took me 5 days to make and i had terrible insomnia during that time knowing this monsterous being was lurking in my computer.
he consists of around 12,000 polys and was made in 3ds max 2011

i hope you like it Zeurel cause all i can say is that this guy is EFN (effing) sweet (lame joke)

this is good

its really really good. It's got nice textures, great proportions, and a stylishness to it overall. This looked like it was very hard to make, but in the end it looks like it was quite the pay-off. GOOD JOB D00D

lol I remember those building textures.

its part of a kit or tutorial..

anyways the character itself is very neat, and i like that you are exaggerating the designs a bit more, the same can be done for the backgrounds as well, the hard right angles go against the curvy design of the character. and the black fonts disappear. But I really do like the design, and look forward to seeing more characters like this.

And yeah i had to fill in the backround with that tutorial buildings :D...probably should have mentioned that....damn
and yes i know i could have done better with lighting, seeing how im getting better at it everyday.

The models themselves are pretty nifty and what not, but my review today will be critical of presentation.

I've noticed this in your other stuff, and what always feels really out of place and poorly done is the type (font) you use on the images. It doesn't pop or look the least bit compelling. You should look into typography and stuff if you are going to include it in your work.

Second, I'd like to mention composition: The character is right in the center and it just feels really plain and the shot isn't dynamic in the least bit. Maybe you could look up composition stuff too.

Hope that doesn't sound like I was bashing, because that's not my intention. Just these small things could improve your presentation of pieces. Anyway the models are nice.

yeh trying my best to make the best but what can yeh do im a newb ^_^

anyways yes i do think the text is poorly placed and awry but i cant photoshop text onto pictures so i used 3D text instead and position it.

the dynamics for my characters are not so easy cause i cant rig characters to move well and string rig is a pain in the arse for bots. i cant even envelope so i kinda hope that someone can do these things for me.
