Icy guardian
he resides in the frozen north
though he appears fearsome he is actually a benevolent being.
helping those who lost there way.
and even taking them in to his dwelling and nursing them back to health.
the natives of the north believe that he is an angel sent down to watch over them. his appearance is drive away evil. the native worship him and gives him offerings even as he tells them they dont need to.
there are some misunderstandings when foreign enter the land.some though frighten at first see his kindness and live in peace.
but there are those that believe that he is an evil beast that corrupted the mind of the natives and try to destroy him.
Kalte does his best to avoid them. but if they threaten the people of his land both native and foreign he will attack. and if need be use lethal force.

Shiny!
I thought this was an evil being until I read the artist's comments XD
I love the shiny effect you used on the ice. Kalte has an interesting design. He seems very misunderstood, from that little backstory you provided.
