it is said that her merely crossing your path will be unimaginable misfortune like plague or even death
she is often accompanied by will-o-wisp , who are mistaken for lanterns. mortals would follow them and get lost or fall off cliffs

some believe that she is sent to earth as punishment for the mortal's sins.

I...freakin....luv it....aint no black cat ever crossed my path and givin me unluck...I am a child of Halloween and all aspects..including unluck and black cats...r highly lucky 4 me and always hav been :]....this pic deserves a the pumpkin smily its that sweet lookin :}...ps unluck can b lucky..ever hear of a blessing in discuise :}
