Hey guys, lol. Finding time to draw now that school started has been tough. It's true that I could just stop playing video games (but screw that), lol. I made it into platinum in LoL. I'm plat 3 now ^^, 2LP away from promos. Maybe I can into diamond in time for the border, lol. I just wish I didn't have to write stupid English papers. I swear, school would be a lot more fun if I just had to do Math and Physics problems all day. Writing an entire paper is just... not fun. Especially when I have to write about shit I don't even understand. But I guess I shouldn't complain about school.

So, here's the drawing. I guess I didn't really put much thought into it this time around. I just kinda picked up the pen and drew. It's pretty relaxing when you don't completely fret over the linework too much. The only thing I really got frustrated over were the hands. I can never get them to look right, even when I'm referencing. I still get lazy when it comes to coloring though. When I'm almost done, I kinda just wanna finish it cause I wanna post it up and show people, so I don't really refine the coloring too much, which I know is a problem, but yeah.

I also have a hard time incorporating backgrounds into my drawings. After I finish a character, I try to do rough paint-outs of different backgrounds I could do, but I can never come up with anything good, so I just put a simple background and I try to just be as creative as possible.

Anyway, thanks a lot guys for looking at my stuff. Advice and comments are always well appreciated! :D

WOW this sure is something. I think that you should try making the head less ball like and have more defining lines (trust me I took art at punahou). Oh and try adding a nose.

But I love balls so much, that I make everything look like balls! Noses don't look like balls. The more balls, balls and ball-like things the better!

This image is hypnotic. The face and eyes draw attention very strongly. Two potential mistakes; the right sleeve should be higher up than the left one, and the lines on the billow in the skirt should become closer together as it recedes. Drawing fast and without a lot of worry is fun and useful. I wish I had some advice for hands that you hadn't already tried... they are notoriously hard.
I like this picture, though. Good work.

Thanks again for your comments :D, your comments are always so helpful. I love it when people point out my mistakes. It's pretty hard to find more people that care enough to give me advice on my drawings xD. I'm glad you liked it.
